TL-WA850RE è progettato per ampliare la copertura wireless estinguendo le zone d'ombra, alla velocità di 300Mbps. È sufficiente la pressione del tasto WPS sull'access point / router sorgente seguita dalla pressione del tasto Range Extender per mettere in funzione il prodotto. La porta LAN è utilizzabile per la connessione di dispositivi Ethernet, trasformando il prodotto in un adattatore: Indicato per SmartTV e Decoder. L'indicatore mostra il livello del segnale proveniente dall'access point / router sorgente ricevuto dal dispositivo, consentendo di determinare facilmente il miglior posizionamento del prodotto.
